Purchasing a Puppy Instructions

Step 1 Simply Place a $200 down payment with any major credit or debit card using our safe and secure SSL certified Godaddy Store. Contact us at 205-876-5175 to make your payment over the phone.

Step 2 Click on this Puppy Contract link to download and fill out the contract then email us a copy to aron@southernweims.com. This also serves as a health guarantee & receipt for both you & Southern Kennels.

Sept 3 Send a brief email stating the name you would like us to put on the list. (e.g. John's Family), along with which list, what color, what sex, and what type of qualities you are looking for in your weimaraner or vizsla puppy. Be sure to inform us if you would like AKC Limited Registration ($1000) or AKC Full Registration ($1200 - you'll want full if you plan to breed, show, or compete). After these steps are completed your name will be officially placed on the list and you can expect to receive each weekly video and key information update via email once the pups are born in the list of your choice.

Air Travel: $175 additional charge. Cost pays for the items as follows:

Shipping Crate: $50 Full vet health exam and health certificate required to fly a puppy: $100 Travel to and from airport: $25

Delta Airline Ticket will be c.o.d. This means you will be required to pay for the ticket when you pick up your puppy from Delta Cargo. We will schedule the flight for you. Most flights depart generally between 7-10 a.m. & arrive to U.S. locations 12-4 p.m. The cost of most flights range between $195-$225.

ANOTHER FLIGHT OPTION: Airlines generally require a shipping temperature of 20°F - 95° F. When weather will not cooperate, you can book your own round trip flight with a pet friendly airline. This may suite you and your budget as another means of picking up your puppy. For example, with flights booked early via certain airlines, it's common to land a roundtrip for $125-150. The airline will typically charge a pet-carry-on fee. Most airlines charge $75. If this option works better for you, book your flight to Birmingham Airport (BHM) and we will gladly meet you at the airport for a $25 travel fee. You are responsible to book your flight and familiarize yourself with this process as each airline has different guidelines and prices to fly your pup as carry-on luggage and to work with us regarding the date you plan to do so.
